In a further strategic agenda to promote the advantages and attract new investments to Mercosur, the Mercosur Chamber of Commerce participated in the 7th Brazil Investment Forum, held this Monday (28) at the WTC Event Center, in São Paulo.
Organized by ApexBrasil in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Federal Government, the Forum brought together business leaders, CEOs, investors, government authorities, specialists and other decision-makers to present Brazil as an attractive, competitive and reliable destination for foreign investments in strategic sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agribusiness, among others, and to reinforce the country's image as one of the most sought-after destinations by international investors.
Represented by the Director of International Business Franchesco López, the Mercosur Chamber of Commerce highlighted that the event is considered the most important business event in attracting investments in the American continent. In this edition, the event had the ecological transformation as a cross-cutting theme, highlighting investment opportunities and changes in the Brazilian business environment that will contribute to the sustainable development of the country. Topics such as innovation, new industrialization, the new PAC, strategic minerals for the energy transition, among others, were addressed.
