Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is being treated for cancer in Havana, will attend the Mercosur meeting in Brasilia on Friday, Brazilian ambassador in Caracas Jose Antonio Marcondes said. Diplomatic sources said Chavez will travel directly from Cuba to Brazil.
