On August 5, the Mercosur Chamber of Industry and Commerce was invited to participate in an important event in Argentina, represented by the local Director, Dr. Mario Martinez Calvi. The meeting, organized by the Argentine-Korean International Economic and Cultural Federation and its president, Mr. Young Kong, had as one of its main objectives to promote cooperation between Argentina and the countries of Southeast Asia.

The event was attended by the presidents of various entities directly related to the countries of Southeast Asia, as well as Argentine authorities such as the Chief of Staff, the General of the Armed Forces of the Argentine Republic, Admiral Jorge Omar Godoy.
