The Chamber participates in the 2024 Meeting of Protagonists
On October 29, 2024, leaders of Brazilian industries and logistics gathered at the São Paulo State Industries Center (CIESP), in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil, to participate in the 2024 Protagonists Meeting, organized by Todologística, and this time named with the motto: “Brazil, business and economic development.”
Brazil, Latin America's largest economy, has posted remarkable economic growth in 2024, driven by key sectors such as agribusiness and industry. The country recorded a 1.4% 1Q3T increase in GDP during the first half of the year, exceeding market expectations.
The Mercosur Chamber of Commerce was represented by the director of International Business Franchesco López. According to López, this event fosters exchanges between Mercosur member countries, attracting foreign investment in infrastructure and technology, and reinforces Brazil's position as a central player in the economic development of Mercosur and Latin America.
For this reason, and with the expectation of analyzing the impact of Brazil as an economic power in the region, the event will address important opportunities to promote economic development.
The event was attended by guests and allies, such as representatives of the Brazil-Peru Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives of countries such as Peru, Angola, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, among others.
