The Bogota Military Club.
The event was held privately at the Military Club in Bogotá, and was aimed exclusively at government figures, such as representatives of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Transport, Ecopetrol, mayors, governors, private transporters, marketers and energy producers. It was also attended by the General Director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Mercosur in Colombia, Octavio Vélez, who presented the autogenerators that run on green hydrogen.
In addition, international visitors attended, including delegations from Bolivia, the United States, and prominent executives from Central America interested in establishing contracts immediately. This technology, in addition to offering significant savings in fuel, is presented as an effective alternative to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic and wind farms, increasing their production by up to 100%, and extending their operation from an average of 8 hours to 24 continuous hours. This represents a viable solution to the global energy deficit.
One of the highlights of the event was the reiteration that the Mercosur Chamber of Industry and Commerce, led by Dr. Miguel Luján Paletta, is the official distributor of this technology in member and allied countries. This point was mentioned several times during the event's interventions. Once the editions are ready, they will be shared.
I consider this to be a great opportunity, since within the framework of the Chamber's restructuring project, we can focus our objectives on areas such as climate change, alternative energies and artificial intelligence. It is important to mention that President Petro recently inaugurated the first and most advanced Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Latin America, and we are in the process of signing an agreement with them. These areas will be the main development flags for member and affiliate countries. Blessings! Mercosur Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
